Das Projekt

Elobas Europarolle zieht durch die Welt. Mit der Idee „Die Sonne lacht in ganz Europa“ für alle Menschen“ entsteht das Endlosbild von Europa und der Welt. Geschaffen von Menschen für Menschen. Kunst für Toleranz und friedliches Miteinander! Denn in Europa tummelt sich die ganze Welt. Und arbeitet mit! Es wird gemalt, geschrieben, gekrickelt, gekratzt. Jede Ausdrucksform ist willkommen!  Und jeder kann mitmachen, ob jung, ob alt, ob Europäer oder nicht, ob unbekannt oder bekannt – wie zum Beispiel einige etablierte Künstler oder bekannte Persönlichkeiten, die die Aktion bereits „tatkräftig“ unterstützten: Martin Schulz in seiner Amtszeit als Präsident des Europäischen Parlaments, Wolfram Kuschke in seiner Amtszeit als Europaminister, der Tatort-Schauspieler Joe Bausch, Franz Müntefering in seiner Amtszeit als Vizekanzler oder Kulturstaatsministerin Claudia Roth.

Die Europarolle ist mit Eloba seit März 2004 auf künstlerischer Wanderschaft. Die unterschiedlichsten Aktionsorte sind dabei – von der Schule, über Kindergärten, Feste, Künstlerateliers, Seniorenheime, Ausstellungen, Messen, Firmen, über Hochzeiten bis hin zu Beerdigungen in unterschiedlichen Städten und Ländern - die gesamte Spannbreite des Lebens zeigt sich auf Elobas Europarolle. Die Aktionen finden oftmals geplant mit Terminierung statt, aber auch spontan, besonders auf Reisen. Wenn die Europarolle durch alle 27 Länder der Europäischen Union gereist ist und mindestens 1000 Menschen aus 100 Nationen 1000 Meter Europarolle geschaffen haben, ist das erste Ziel erreicht.

Nach der letzten Aktion sollen alle Rollen zusammengefügt und in ihrer ganzen Länge im Europaparlament in Brüssel gezeigt werden. Danach entsteht das mobile Europahaus in Form des europäischen Sternes, das von innen und außen mit der Europarolle tapeziert wird. Für Menschen von Menschen! Das völkerverbindende Europahaus! Sinnbild gemeinsamer Arbeit für Frieden und für Europa durch und mit Kunst. Über die Aktion mit allen Teilnehmern, ihren Bildern und Schriften wird ein Bildband entstehen.

Diese Kunstaktion des interkulturellen Dialogs ist ein Projekt der Freischaffenden Bildenden Künstlerin Eloba/Ellen Loh-Bachmann. Jede Aktion wird von ihr persönlich begleitet. Im Rahmen eines Projektwettbewerbes erhielt Eloba den Förderpreis der deutschen UNESCO-Kommission/dm und die Ehrennadeln in Silber und  Gold der Europa-Union Deutschland für den Einsatz ihrer Kunst für Europa.

Die Projekt-Ziele

1-  1000 Meter Europarolle von 1000 Menschen aus 100 Nationen und Besuch aller Länder der Europäischen Union und vielleicht       einen Eintrag ins Guinnessbuch der Rekorde

2-   Fotografische Aufbereitung und Digitalisierung der Bilder und Texte

3-   Connection der Einzelrollen zur Megarolle

4-   Präsentation der Megarolle (Brüssel, Straßburg, Luxemburg)

5-   Bau des Europahauses in Sternform, die Wände innen und außen mit der Europarolle tapeziert, gegebenenfalls in digitaler       Form

6-   Künstlerbuch 1 – Darstellung und Fotografien der Aktionen mit allen Teilnehmern, Orten, Ländern und Fotografien der Bilder       und Schriften der Europarolle

7-   Künstlerbuch 2 – Darstellung der Umsetzung der Europarolle zum Europahaus

The project

Eloba's European Roll travels through the world.  With the idea "The sun beams all over Europe" for all people", the endless image of Europe and the world is created. Created by people for people. Art for tolerance and peaceful coexistence! Because the whole world cavorts in Europe. And all people is working together on the European Roll. They are painting, writing, scratching. Every form of expression is welcome!  And everyone can join in, whether young or old, European or not, unknown or well-known - such as some established artists or well-known personalities who have already actively supported the campaign: Martin Schulz in his term as President of the European Parliament, Wolfram Kuschke in his term as Minister for Europe, Tatort actor Joe Bausch, Franz Müntefering in his term as Vice Chancellor or Claudia Roth, the Minister of State for Culture.

The European Roll has been on an artistic tour with Eloba since March 2004. The most diverse places of action are involved - from schools, kindergartens, festivals, artists' studios, retirement homes, exhibitions, fairs, companies, weddings to funerals in different cities and countries - the entire range of life is shown on Eloba's European Roll. The actions often take place planned with scheduling, but also spontaneously, especially when travelling. When the European Roll has travelled through all 27 countries of the European Union and at least 1000 people from 100 nations have created 1000 metres of European Roll, the first goal has been reached.

After the last action, all the rolls will be put together and displayed in their full length in the European Parliament in Brussels. After that, the mobile Europe House will be built in the shape of the European star, which will be wallpapered with the European scroll from the inside and outside. For people by people! The Europe House that unites people! A symbol of joint work for peace through and with art. An illustrated book will be produced about the action with all the participants, their pictures and writings.

This art action of intercultural dialogue is a project of the freelance visual artist Eloba/Ellen Loh-Bachmann. She personally accompanies each action. In the context of a project competition, the artist received the sponsorship award of the German UNESCO Commission/dm and the Silver and Gold Badges of Honour of the Europe-Union Germany for the commitment of her art to Europe.

The project goals

1-  1000 metres European Roll of 1000 people from 100 nations and visit of all countries of the European Union and maybe an      entry in the Guinness Book of Records

2-  Photographic processing and digitalisation of the pictures and texts

3-  Connection of the single rolls to the mega roll

4-  Presentation of the mega-roll (Brussels, Strasbourg, Luxembourg)

5-  Construction of the Europe House in the shape of a star, the walls inside and outside papered with the Europe Scroll, if      necessary in digital form

6-  Artist book 1 - Representation and photographs of the actions with all participants, places, countries and photographs of the      pictures and writings of the European Roll

7-  Artist book 2 - Representation of the transformation of the European Roll into the House of Europe
